Happy solar return to you, Gemini!

To celebrate the sun’s transition into the vibrant realms of your sign, author and tarot reader Kerry Ward has created a tarot spread to guide you in the coming year, using her Good Karma Tarot Deck.

As an Air sign ruled by fleet-footed, silver-tongued Mercury, Gemini is associated with intellect and alchemy.

Language falls under the domain of Gemini, who excels at writing poetry, impersonating unknown individuals, and even bending the truth, all with their distinctive flair.

Geminis learn through verbal exchange, feel most alive when in motion, and are most challenged when asked to sit in stillness or silence.

Tarot spread for Gemini season

Take it from one of the home team, folks.

“Geminis (I am one, so I’m entitled to rave) are intelligent, communicative, inquisitive about everything, lighthearted, and quick-paced. They can adapt to any situation, analyze everything, and charm and persuade anyone, ensuring Geminis always leave a mark,” Ward expressed.

People of the twin should read on to learn more about what the upcoming year holds in store for your sign — according to a card-carrying Gemini.

The Star

The first pull in Ward’s Gemini spread is The Star, which she describes as a cosmic wish fulfillment card from the Universe itself.

“This card gives you the necessary luck, determination, and inspiration to turn your ambitions into realities.”

She urges her fellow Gemis to set their sights higher than ever in the year to come: “The higher you aim, the better the outcome. February 2026 will bring about a great celebration and reward, you will feel like you’ve ‘made it’.

Nine of Cups

Ward’s immediate advice for Geminis, courtesy of the Nine of Cups card, is to take direct action toward a specific goal.

“Even if it’s just writing it down, making a vision board, making a wish, or researching your options, do something demonstrative, positive, and proactive that lets the Universe know what you are aiming for and capable of.”

She promises the people of twins that if they initiate now, “Something will happen within 10 days.”

The Lovers

While Geminis are often maligned for what some would call duplicity, Ward assures that the hallmark versatility of the Gemini archetype, represented by The Lovers card, will elevate them in the coming months.

“Many different versions of you will come out to play this year. You are a multi-faceted and shape-shifting kinda of person, and this is a GIFT. Use your duality and adaptability wisely. Bring the right face to the right place, and you will be rewarded.”

The Magician

Ward emphasizes that for Geminis, the express mission in the year ahead is, “To create! To invent! To pitch and propose and innovate and make things happen!”

She imparts that The Magician card signifies power, creativity, and singular ideas born to be shared.

“Don’t let them go to waste. You could become a creator, entrepreneur, or influential communicator in the year ahead (with breakthroughs in June and September). You’re ready to acknowledge and own and step into your talents and strengths.”
