BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — A man from Chilhowie was charged with felony drug offenses on May 14 following a traffic stop, as stated in a release by the Bristol, Virginia Police Department.
Bristol, Virginia’s vice/narcotics detectives and patrol officers conducted a vehicle stop in the 1400 block of Lee Highway on May 14 at 12:05 a.m.
Utilizing the assistance of K9 Fanta, the department uncovered roughly 569 grams of methamphetamine and 29 grams of cocaine within the vehicle, according to the release.
The vehicle’s driver was identified as Wesley Conley, 43, of Chilhowie.
Conley was charged with possession with intent to distribute more than 227 grams of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
He is being held in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail without bond.
