Fan-favorite milkshake arrives at Chick-fil-A next month

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — One of Chick-fil-A’s fan-favorite milkshakes is set to return next month.

The Atlanta-based fast food restaurant announced Thursday that the peach milkshake will return for its 16th year starting June 9.

The creamy treat will be joined by a new peach-themed item: peach frosted lemonade.

Both drinks will be available for a limited time at participating restaurants.

Here’s a look at the new menu items, according to Chick-fil-A:

Peach Milkshake: A Returning Seasonal Classic

  • Originally crafted by Chick-fil-A Culinary Lead Angela Canada, the Peach Milkshake is a classic summer treat inspired by her grandmother’s homemade peach ice cream recipe. Hand-spun the old-fashioned way, this creamy milkshake features Chick-fil-A® Icedream® dessert and peaches, topped off with whipped cream and a cherry.

Introducing the New Peach Frosted Lemonade

  • The Peach Frosted Lemonade is a sweet and refreshing drink, featuring a combination of Chick-fil-A® Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) and Icedream dessert mixed with peaches.
  • Offering a delicious twist, the Peach Frosted Lemonade delivers a taste of summer with every sip, adding fresh lemon juice to the recipe for a perfectly balanced blend of creamy, fruity and refreshing flavors.

“There’s something about the Peach Milkshake that really signals the beginning of summer, and for 16 years our Guests have eagerly awaited its return,” shared Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A. “As we strive to surprise and delight our Guests with new and unique flavors year-round, we decided to offer a twist on the beloved peach flavor with the Peach Frosted Lemonade. Whether it’s a picnic in the park with friends or a weeknight dinner with family, our Peach treats – paired with crispy Chick-n-Strips – make the perfect combo to enjoy a bite and relish the flavors of summer.”

Chick-fil-A also announced that the pineapple dragonfruit beverage will be extended through the summer. The drink will be available through Aug. 16.
