Israel Defense Force: 'We Eliminated the Head of Hamas, Again'

Thanks to the actions of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the position of a Hamas leader does not promise a lengthy career. On Saturday, the IDF announced via their official X account that they have changed another Hamas leader’s pronouns to “was” and “were”:

On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Israeli parliament and presented a list of Hamas leaders who have been eliminated by the IDF, and it’s an extensive list indeed.

During his address, Netanyahu enumerated the prominent Hamas leaders who were killed during the conflict and mentioned Sinwar. “We have eliminated tens of thousands of terrorists. We killed (Mohammed) Deif, (Ismail) Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Mohammed Sinwar,” he stated.

Netanyahu did not elaborate, and Israel’s military did not immediately issue any new statement on Sinwar’s apparent death.

While there is as yet no information on how this latest Sinwar was eliminated, the IDF tends to prefer missile and smart-bomb attacks for these kinds of operations.
