It looks like the first recoupling of Love Island USA Season 7 has left everyone in the villa feeling shaken up.
In an exclusive preview obtained by DECIDER for tonight’s episode, it appears that many of the couples will find themselves in conflict following the unexpected elimination.
The first elimination of the season concluded with Nicolas Vansteenberghe selecting Cierra Ortega over Belle-A Walker, which resulted in Walker leaving the villa. However, in tonight’s episode, Ortega is in for a shock when Olandria Carthen unintentionally discloses that Vansteenberghe and Walker shared an intense kiss just moments before their pivotal time in the photo booth.
This revelation makes Ortega question her feelings about Vansteenberghe. In the sneak peek, she confronts him, saying, “Did you not think I was ever gonna find out?” expressing her inability to proceed if that’s how he is going to act.
Ace Greene also made the somewhat shocking decision of choosing newcomer Amaya Espinal over Chelley Bissainthe during Sunday’s recoupling. But it looks like the honeymoon period could be over as Espinal admits in tonight’s episode that she’s already “questioning” their connection.
And she’s not the only person questioning their feelings in the villa.
Taylor Williams seemed to be going strong with Carthen, who he’s been coupled up with since the start of Season 7. But is there something missing for this Oklahoma cowboy? “If itâs not there, itâs not there,â Williams tells Greene at one point in the clip. Meanwhile, Austin Shepard complains that he’s “tired” of being in a love triangle with Bissainthe and Greene.
Not all of the couples are on the outs, however.
Jeremiah Brown and Huda Mustafa, who have declared themselves the “mom and dad” of the group, will get the chance to go on their first official date together in tonight’s episode. But the couple seem to miss all of the villa drama. “You guys left the house and the kids made a mess,” Shepard tells them that evening.
Luckily, Love Island USA fans will get to see all of the drama for themselves in tonight’s episode.
New episodes of Love Island USA air on Peacock everyday except for Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
