() President Donald Trump said Saturday the military parade to celebrate the Army’s 250th anniversary is on “rain or shine.”
In a Truth Social post, Trump said: “Our great military parade is on, rain or shine.” He added that a rainy parade “brings good luck.”
Army officials estimate around 200,000 people will attend the parade on Saturday, which is also Flag Day and President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.
The event is expected to bring more than 150 armored vehicles and tanks, and more than 6,000 soldiers to the nation’s capital.
The hourlong parade begins at 6:30 p.m. EDT at Constitution Avenue between 15th and 23rd streets. The parade is open to the public.
