Former aide to Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, looked stunning in an off-white ensemble while mingling with top Democrats in anticipation of her Hamptons wedding to George Soros’s affluent son, as shown in exclusive photos from DailyMail.com.

At 48, Abedin opted for a chic, understated mid-length dress in a champagne hue, featuring flutter sleeves, paired with coordinating heeled sandals as she celebrated her forthcoming marriage to 39-year-old Alex Soros on Shelter Island, New York, last Friday.

The future groom complemented Abedin’s attire by wearing a light brown suit and matching shoes as they socialized with prominent Democrats, including Clinton herself. 

Her husband, Bill Clinton, and daughter Chelsea, alongside former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, are on the high-profile wedding guest list, sources told Page Six. 

Hillary was seen talking to Abedin’s son, Jordan, whom she shares with disgraced politician, Anthony Weiner, 60, who is attempting to break back into NYC politics with a bid for city council.

Her ex-husband, who she divorced after he was jailed for sexting a minor, is not attending the wedding. She did donate $175 toward his campaign, according to public records. 

The happy couple hosted Friday night’s soiree for dozens of family members and friends at the waterfront estate of Soros’ mother, Susan Weber, on Shelter Island, in the exclusive enclave of Dering Harbor.

The rehearsal dinner was surrounded by heavy security, including Secret Service agents guarding former US President Bill Clinton and his wife, who arrived with Soros and Abedin in a motorcade of black SUVs.

Torrential rain hammered down in the Hamptons on Saturday morning, ahead of the wedding celebrations this afternoon and this evening.

Workers were spotted setting for the wedding in large white tents on the Soros’ sprawling estate in the Hamptons hamlet of Water Mill.

Security staff stood guard on the long front drive of the Georgian-style 12-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion, which was originally designed by architect W.E. Brady.

Soros snr boasts an impressive portfolio of at least 11 homes, including two in the Hamptons, and another in Katonah, an exclusive area in Westchester, New York City.

The famously private philanthropist, reportedly worth $25billion, has transferred a raft of properties to the names of his closest advisers over the years.

It is understood many guests are being ferried to the wedding from upmarket hotels in nearby Bridgehampton in a fleet of chauffeur blacked-out minivans.

Guests were said to be in good spirits and some even joked whether any Republicans would be invited to the Dem society wedding.

The Democrat insider and the liberal mega-donor hosted their rehearsal dinner – reportedly catered by Marie Eiffel – in a warmly lit white marquee on the lawn, with two bars at either end and a string ensemble to entertain guests as they enjoyed their sit-down meal.

The ex-president, who wore a dark blazer and pants, was seen gingerly clambering out of the SUV, just days after sparking concern over his apparently fragile appearance at his book launch in New York City.

Well-dressed guests were chauffeured to the party in a fleet of sleek black minibuses and blacked out SUVs as local police were drafted in to manage the slew of traffic on the residential road.

Soros’s mother was seen making final preparations before the arrival of the guests, most of whom had to line up under a gazebo on the front drive to show their invitations.

VIPs including the bride, groom and the Clintons were driven directly down the private driveway of Soros’ mother’s abode.

Some guests were luckier than others in getting into the exclusive event, with one unhappy-looking couple left standing on the side of the road for some time after they apparently failed to produce their invitations.

The dinner comes ahead of the Democrat power couple’s hotly anticipated wedding celebration Saturday at George Soros’s $14.5million mega mansion in Southampton, New York.

It has been billed as the society wedding of the year for the Democratic elite, with a string of leftie power-players reportedly expected to attend, including the former presidents, George and Amal Clooney, and Vogue Editor Anna Wintour, among others.

Several European prime ministers linked to Soros Sr.’s grant-giving foundation Open Society, are also set to attend, according to Page Six.

Wintour, who hosted the couple’s engagement party at her SoHo apartment last December, is said to have promised the couple coverage in Vogue for their wedding.

On Friday, another of Soros Sr’s Hamptons homes played host to wedding preparations, with high tables set out for a cocktail hour. At one point, a pre-wedding photo shot for the couple also appeared to be taking place. 

But the nuptials could be blighted by rain throughout the day and a planned protest against the Trump Administration taking place nearby.

Activists are gathering on Cooper’s Beach – some 2.4 miles away – between 2pm and 4.30pm under the banner of the nationwide ‘No Kings’ protests.

Protest organizers say of the event: ‘We the people of Long Island cook, clean and landscape for the ultra-rich – yet they ignore our suffering.

‘While costs for food and rent are skyrocketing, and programs like Social Security and Medicare are being slashed. On just one Southampton street, two billionaires hoard $117B from Wall Street gambling and fossil fuels.

‘Instead of helping people here, Congress – backed by billionaires – sends billions to foreign conflicts instead of helping people right here in the US. 

‘The working class is under attack. We say: Enough! Tax all income over $10M at 100 percent –  abolish billionaires! Food, housing, healthcare, and education should come before profit.’

A no-fly zone encompassing the property is in force from 3pm Saturday until 3am Sunday.

Soros and his father are among the most prolific fundraisers in the Democratic Party. Soros has been named heir to his father’s $25billion empire.

Abedin was one of Clinton’s top aides during her tenure as Secretary of State during President Obama’s first term.

She hit the headlines when it was revealed her husband, then a Democratic US Congressman from New York had texted nude pictures to young women.

Weiner resigned his post but ran again in 2013 when again he was found to have sexted pictures. Abedin divorced him and he was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison and he had to register as a sex offender.

Abedin and Soros met in the fall of 2023 at Nicky Hilton’s birthday party, and they were engaged in New York City in May 2024.
