After a challenging 2024/25 season, Real Madrid is set to begin anew – and their upcoming kits might symbolize this new era.

The previous season was disappointing for Los Blancos, as Barcelona took the La Liga title and bested Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup as well as the Copa del Rey final. In the Champions League, Madrid’s campaign ended in a disappointing quarter-final loss to Arsenal.

Big changes are on the way, notably the anticipated arrival of Xabi Alonso as head coach, along with potential high-profile signings such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen. These developments give Madrid supporters renewed hope.

And if the latest leaks are to be believed, they’ll also be seeing their team sporting a trio of striking new kits.

Leaked images on social media reveal the designs of Real Madrid’s home, away, and third kits for the 2025/26 season. Manufactured by adidas, the collection blends modern style with nostalgic nods to iconic eras in the club’s history.

The home shirt stays true to Madrid tradition with a crisp white base, but introduces stylish yellow highlights and light grey accents for a subtle modern twist. Black logos and a bright yellow stripe running down each side add contrast and flair.

The look, according to Footy Headlines, draws inspiration from the 2009/10 season – Cristiano Ronaldo’s first in Madrid – and the 2015/16 Champions League-winning campaign.

The away kit is a bold navy blue, accented with silver logos and light volt detailing. The colour palette recalls the 2012/13 season, while the inclusion of adidas’ modern Tiro 25 template and a retro-style collar offers a sleek, updated silhouette.

Perhaps the most eye-catching of the three is the third kit: a vibrant bright blue shirt featuring faint diagonal stripes and jagged shoulder detailing. It leans fully into retro territory, swapping the usual Adidas performance logo for the classic trefoil emblem – a throwback to the brand’s kits from the 1980s and early ’90s.

Although Real Madrid have yet to confirm the designs, the leaked images have already sparked buzz among supporters – and signal a renewed sense of identity as the club looks to bounce back stronger next season.

New manager, new signings, and now, new kits. If the leaks are accurate, Madrid could be looking the part as they chase redemption in 2025/26.
