Unintentionally Funny Hot Takes on 'No Kings' Protest, Featuring Hillary Clinton

One of the funniest tweets on Saturday after the “No Kings” protests was from Jonathan Chait who writes for The Atlantic.

Um, I’m a bit confused. What was the whole purpose of this protest?

“No Kings?” We didn’t have kings before the protest and, unsurprisingly, we still don’t have kings afterward. Hooray, success? That non-existent thing we spent time protesting remains nonexistent.

But that’s what liberal journalist Chait considers a “success.” This, once again, highlights how Democrats think. They focus not on tangible outcomes, but on emotional “feels.” Many people gathered to express their discontent with President Donald Trump, so that’s deemed a “success.”

It wasn’t completely meaningless. The folks from the assisted living facility did have a day out.

Did you notice how a great percentage of the people involved in these things are elderly folks?

The Democrats were upset with the Army’s 250th birthday parade. That was insane since it was a fabulous parade. They should have watched it and learned something. The Army freed us from “kings” in the Revolutionary War. The leftists were so busy hating on Trump that they failed to understand the Army celebration was the true “No Kings” event, not their meaningless efforts.
