Another Sunday, another day wondering when Tracker will be back with new episodes.
The Season 2 finale of the popular CBS series, crafted by Elwood Reid and guided by director Ken Olin, witnessed Colter (Justin Hartley) making his way back to Echo Ridge, California. During his visit, he reconnected with his mother, Mary Dove Shaw (Wendy Crewson), and discovered significant details concerning the enigmatic demise of his father, Ashton Shaw (Lee Tergesen).
In particular, Colter found out that his father’s long-time friend Otto Waldron (Alex Fernandez) was with him in the wilderness the night of his death—and that Otto was actually the one who pushed Ashton over the cliff! When Colter queried Otto for further details, Otto revealed he was present because “she asked for my help.” But who is “she”? None other than Colter’s mother! *GASP*
This dramatic episode concluded on a major cliffhanger and introduced several intriguing questions. When will fans get the answers they crave? Is Tracker airing tonight, June 22? Will there be a Tracker Season 3? And if confirmed, when will Tracker resume with fresh episodes on CBS?

Will There Be A Tracker Season 3 On CBS?
You bet! On February 20, 2025, CBS renewed the popular survivalist drama for Season 3, which means Tracker will return with new episodes in the future. Back in February, CBS reported that Tracker hit over 18 million multi-platform viewers, up four percent year over year. And on May 7, 2025, CBS claimed another big win with Tracker taking the top spot in the network’s 2024-2025 season to date, averaging 17.5 million broadcast and streaming viewers per episode, per a Nielsen 35-day streaming report.
