After Leann Rimes disclosed a dental mishap during a recent show, the women of The View reminisced about their own on-air blunders in Thursday’s (June 26) episode. Among the humorous tales, Alyssa Farah Griffin’s encounter with Jude Law was notably amusing.

“I accidentally flashed my underwear to Jude Law backstage once,” Griffin revealed on The View.

The audience howled with laughter as she recounted the “brutal” encounter she had with the actor backstage of The View.

“My microphone pack slid down my dress, so I dashed backstage during a commercial break,” she recounted, explaining that the female audio technicians usually assist her. “I lifted my skirt for her to adjust it, only to realize Jude Law was standing right there.”

Griffin continued, “And in my embarrassment he just says nothing and I go, ‘I’m sorry, sir.’ I made it worse by calling him sir! It was brutal.”

Other hosts shared their own memorable slip-ups, like when a stunt performer dressed as Spider-Man missed catching Sara Haines as she fainted on-camera, and a recent scare when Sunny Hostin “nearly experienced a life-threatening moment on set.”

Hostin had unknowingly consumed walnuts in a dish prepared by former View host Debbie Matenopoulos during a recent segment.

“I’m deathly allergic to walnuts,” she said on The View as she looked back on that moment. “But guess what? The show must go on.”

Behar then tried to get out of sharing her own embarrassing moment from the show, but Hostin and Ana Navarro were sure to call her out for falling out of her chair recently. Behar ended the segment by asking The View executive producer Brian Teta, “Brian, how many times have you seen me in a brassiere? Be honest.”

But Teta promptly shut down her question without offering an answer. “We gotta go to commercial,” he replied.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
