A man from South Carolina who flew into LAX earlier this month has not been seen since he arrived.

According to a missing person’s bulletin from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit, Tyrek Harrington traveled to the Los Angeles area via LAX on June 3. He was believed to have been staying in the 800 block of South Francisco Street in downtown Los Angeles, the bulletin indicates.

Reports from affiliate WSAV indicate Harrington, 28, had left his home in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, to visit friends and was due to fly home on June 9; however, he never returned.

His mother then reported him missing to local deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office on June 11, WSAV said. She also noted to the outlet that her son does not have any underlying physical or mental health issues.

He is listed as standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tyrek Harrington is asked to contact the Beaufort County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office or the LAPD by calling 1-877-527-3247.
