Lauren Sanchez's wedding dress is 'STOLEN' days after tying the knot

Just a few days after Lauren Sanchez celebrated her wedding in Venice with a lavish three-day event, one of her outfits has reportedly been stolen.

At 55, the bride had 27 dresses selected for her special day. However, it has come to light that one of these dresses has mysteriously vanished without any clue of its whereabouts.

Reports from the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera indicate that the dress went missing following the ceremony, though the specific designer of the missing gown remains unidentified.

An unknown woman who was elegantly dressed allegedly snuck past security guards without invitation.

She was ‘kindly escorted out’ but her personal details weren’t recorded and she is thought to have taken the dress.

Meanwhile the missing dress isn’t the only drama as it was also revealed her Dolce & Gabbana gown reportedly caught fire while she was getting married.

One of Lauren Sanchez’s wedding outfits has reportedly been stolen by an elegantly dressed party crasher just days after she tied the knot in extravagant three day celebrations in Venice

The bride had a total of 27 dresses to choose from for her big day, and now it has been revealed that one of the dresses is thought to have been stolen after disappearing without a trace

Fortunately it was not the dress Lauren wore to exchange her vows.

MailOnline have contacted Lauren’s representatives for comment.

On the day of her nuptials, Lauren opted stunned in a lacy white turtleneck Dolce & Gabbana gown as she married the Amazon founder in Venice, Italy.

The billionaire couple tied the knot today on San Giorgio Maggiore island in front of a dazzling array of star-studded guests.

The bride, took to Instagram moments after saying ‘I do’ to share a snap of her and Jeff together, which she captioned with the date.

Lauren showed off her stunning wedding dress in the image, which contained lacy, floral sleeves, a tight bodice, high neckline, long flowing skirt with an enormous train, and buttons down the front.

She also posed in the exquisite wedding dress for a pre-wedding photoshoot with Vogue magazine.

While chatting with the publication, she recalled feeling like a ‘princess’ during her dress fitting, which took place in Milan, Italy.

‘It was more powerful than I thought,’ she added of the moment she put it on for the first time.

She also revealed that Jeff had begged to see her in the gown, but as is tradition for most brides, she explained that she wasn’t going to let him lay his eyes upon it until the big day.

‘I almost gave in,’ she admitted. ‘But I want it to be a surprise. As you get a little older, not many things surprise you. I can’t wait to see his face.’

Just an hour later, she followed up with some behind-the-scenes snaps of her wedding gown taken by Nicolas Geradin.

In a carousel post, the former journalist was seen standing inside a decadent room in Venice, wearing the high-neck lace dress and showing off its dramatic silhouette.

The second photo, a black and white image, showed Lauren and her team helping her get into the gown, while the third image featured designer Domenico Dolce placing the lace veil on her head.

She tagged the team behind her look, which included Rick Henry, Laura Mele, Iram Shelton and Jamie Mizrahi.

‘Not just a gown, a piece of poetry,’ she captioned the post. ‘Thank you @dolcegabbana for the magic you made.’

The show-stopping ballgown was made of silk chiffon and had a bodice which was hand embroidered with an array of rose gold, bronze, and gold Swarovski crystals.

The former journalist paired this look with a black jewel-encrusted clutch bag which read: ‘Mrs. Bezos’ with clear diamonds as she showed off her new status to the world.
