Michael Madsen, known for roles in 'Reservoir Dogs,' 'Kill Bill' films, dies at 67

MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) — Actor Michael Madsen, known for roles in “Reservoir Dogs” and the “Kill Bill” films, died Thursday. He was 67.

Madsen was discovered unresponsive by deputies who arrived at his residence in Malibu, California, as reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He was declared deceased at 8:25 a.m.

The sheriff’s department said no foul play is suspected in his death and it appears to be from natural causes.

“Over the past two years, Michael Madsen has been engaging in remarkable work with independent films, including forthcoming titles like Resurrection Road, Concessions, and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, eagerly anticipating this new phase of his life. Additionally, Michael was on the verge of releasing a new book titled Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems, which is currently undergoing editing,” stated his managers and publicist.

“Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, who will be missed by many.”
