Community Spotlight: Georgetown Fair

GEORGETOWN, Ill. (WCIA) — Paili Davis, Miss Georgetown Fair Queen, joined WCIA’s Mitchell Rife to talk about the upcoming fair.

The Georgetown Fair is scheduled from July 5-12 at the Georgetown Fairgrounds in Vermilion County. Offering entertainment for all ages, the event is designed to be accessible to those with disabilities, with new roads planned for paving. Attendees can look forward to a wide array of tractors, vegetables, and animals.

The fair’s festivities will also feature a rodeo and the Queen Pageant on the upcoming Monday night. During this event, Davis will crown a new Miss Georgetown Fair Queen to represent the fair. The Queen will have a wonderful chance to volunteer and connect more closely with the communities across the county.
