Three people have been charged after a Melbourne restaurant was damaged last Friday.

Around 8:15 PM, it’s reported that approximately 20 pro-Palestinian demonstrators made their way to Miznon restaurant on Hardware Lane.

Some individuals within the group allegedly engaged in a disturbance that involved throwing chairs and damaging the restaurant’s glass door.

Yesterday morning, the police executed three search warrants in Essendon, Footscray, and Richmond, resulting in the arrest of three individuals.

All three were charged with assault, affray, riotous behaviour, and criminal damage.

A 50-year-old Richmond man faced court yesterday afternoon.

A 48-year-old Footscray woman and a 28-year-old Essendon woman were both bailed to appear in court on September 25.

The investigation into the incident continues.
