Emily Ratajkowski is eager to participate in a second season of Too Much, and she’s currently waiting for Netflix to approve the continuation of the series.

**Spoiler alert: this article contains details from the entire first season of Too Much**

In a conversation with DECIDER about the new project from Girls creator Lena Dunham, the model, actress, and activist revealed that although the process is still in its infancy—since Season 1 was just released on July 10—the cast and crew are enthusiastic about delving into the future of Jessica (played by Meg Stalter) and Felix (portrayed by Will Sharpe). The season finale, “The Idea of Glue,” features the pair reconciling and marrying after they broke up in Episode 9 and experienced a public fallout in Episode 10, following the passing of Jessica’s cherished dog, Astrid.

As scenes from Jessica and Felix’s wedding unfold before the closing credits, Wendy Jones (played by Ratajkowski) delivers a final voiceover, in which she apologizes for wearing one of Jessica’s t-shirts that originally belonged to Jessica’s mother. She returns the shirt, expressing her wish that her new favorite shirt will fit even better, and extends the same hope to Jessica. Both Ratajkowski and Dunham see this conclusion as an opportunity to explore more narratives in a potential Season 2.

“Lena was like, ‘I have a whole story for Wendy if we get a second season,’” the My Body author told DECIDER. “I was like, ‘Okay, keep me posted, girl.’”

Pressed for more details, Ratajkowski shared that she couldn’t say much more than that they have some thoughts about where fans would see Wendy Jones if a second season were to happen. “I mean, we just have an idea. We have some ideas,” she said.

Netflix has yet to give the series a second season and while many might see Season 1’s ending as a perfectly wrapped-up package, there is so much more story to tell. In an interview, Dunham, who wed her own British musician husband in 2021, said that she thinks they could hone in on the post-marriage complications that are inevitable.

“Marriage is not the end of a love story,” Dunham told The Wrap. “In many ways, it’s the beginning, and a marriage is an incredibly complicated negotiation.”

So true! We personally could not be more excited at the prospect of seeing these characters again. Too Much Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
