3 men arrested in connection to ongoing child sexual abuse investigation in Bibb County

In Bibb County, Alabama, three individuals have been apprehended related to an investigation into child abuse, started by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office in February.

On February 4, the Criminal Investigation Division of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office began probing into allegations of child sexual abuse occurring in an underground bunker in Brent.

Through a series of interviews, investigators arrested William Chase McElroy. McElroy is currently held at the Bibb County Jail and is charged with four counts of first-degree rape, six counts of first-degree human trafficking, six counts of first-degree sodomy, and four counts of first-degree kidnapping.

On April 25, Dalton Terrell was identified as a second suspect. Terrell was charged with six counts of rape in the first degree, 12 counts of sodomy in the first degree and five counts of human trafficking in the first degree. He is being held in the Bibb County Jail.

The third suspect, Andres Velazquez-Trejo, was arrested on April 29. He is being held in the Bibb County Jail on charges of six counts of human trafficking in the first degree.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, details are currently limited due to the investigation being ongoing.
