Nike continues its Total 90 revival tour by bringing back one of American soccer’s most beloved shirts – the USA 2004 home jersey.

Following the re-release of iconic jerseys for Brazil, Portugal, and the Netherlands, the Swoosh brand has shifted its focus to the United States, bringing back a shirt symbolizing a key period in American soccer history.

The kit, originally associated with a transformative era for the U.S. men’s national team, brings to mind the era of players like Landon Donovan, DaMarcus Beasley, and Claudio Reyna, who were making their presence known on the world stage.

Today, two decades on, Nike honors that history by focusing the shirt’s re-release on Donovan, featuring his name on the reverse of this contemporary version.

Design-wise, it’s unmistakably T90. The clean white base is complemented by bold navy shoulder panels and vivid red detailing.

That centralised crest – a hallmark of the Total 90 era – ties it all together, creating a shirt that blends minimalism with muscle. More than just a look, it symbolised a growing swagger in American soccer and became a streetwear favourite in its own right.

Twenty years later, the jersey still hits with the same visual punch, and now returns as a piece of footballing heritage.
