(NewsNation) — Some drink packs are being recalled after Celsius Astro Vibe energy drink cans were mistakenly filled with High Noon vodka seltzer.

The recall impacts two production lots of High Noon Beach Variety packs. Although the cans contain vodka seltzer, they were incorrectly labeled as “sparkling blue razz”-flavored Celsius Astro Vibe energy drinks, according to the company.

There have been no consumer-reported problems with the affected drinks, but the company stated in a press release that “consumption of the liquid in these cans will result in unintentional alcohol ingestion.”

The affected lots were distributed in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin. The recall pertains specifically to High Noon Beach Variety Packs with lot codes from L CCC 17JL25 14:0 to L CCC 17JL25 23:59 and L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to L CCC 18JL25 03:00.

Customers with Celsius Astro Vibe sparkling blue razz drinks not included in the variety pack should ensure they are not linked to the lot codes from L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11 before consumption.

If you have products linked to these lot codes, you should discard them without consuming. For those who possess the affected drinks and have inquiries or wish to obtain a refund, contact consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com.

The issue was traced to a shared packaging supplier who accidentally sent empty Celsius cans to High Noon, which were then filled and packed into the variety packs.

Celsius was not involved with the mislabeling incident and is working with High Noon and parent company Gallo to recall the drinks.
