Tennessee authorities hunt for 29-year-old suspect in quadruple murder linked to abandoned baby

A manhunt is currently taking place in Tennessee after authorities identified a suspect in the killing of four individuals connected to a baby left on a home’s front lawn.

The Dyer County Police Department announced on Thursday that 29-year-old Austin Robert Drummond is suspected of murdering James M. Wilson, 21, Adrianna Williams, 20, Cortney Rose, 38, and Braydon Williams, 15. Their bodies were discovered in Tiptonville, Tennessee, on Tuesday.

According to police, these four murders are associated with the incident of an infant found on the front lawn of an unspecified residence, secured in a car seat. A passerby spotted the car seat and notified authorities by calling 911.

According to FOX 13, the baby was related to all the victims.

“This is a very tragic day for our community. We are devoted to finding the facts and ensuring that justice prevails,” stated Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box.

As reported by FOX 13, Drummond has a criminal history, previously serving a 13-year sentence for charges of aggravated robbery and retaliation. He was released from prison on September 1, 2024.
