Head of alleged Beauty and the Geek murder victim Julian found

The finding in Port Lincoln is part of an ongoing six-week investigation into the death of Story, who is believed to have been killed by his partner, former Beauty and the Geek participant Tamika Chesser.

Yesterday was meant to be just a regular walk for Tyson McCallum and his dogs, until Benji the Beaglier found what police believe is Story’s head.

“I just went in a bit closer and kind of made the connection pretty quickly as to what I thought it was,” said McCallum.

“(It was) pretty surreal to be honest,” he added.

“I was kind of like ‘No way, it’s not what I think it is, surely not’. But it was too coincidental.”

Authorities are optimistic the remains belong to Story, though forensic analysis is necessary to verify the identity, which is anticipated to bring some solace to his family.Â

“They’ve endured so much, beyond imagination, and to finally have it resolved, they can achieve some closure, which will hopefully offer them peace,” stated McCallum.

Chesser remains before the courts accused of killing Story before beheading and discarding his remains.

Law enforcement and the State Emergency Service carried out additional searches in the reserve where the skull was discovered today, with cadaver dogs employed to uncover any further remains.Â

Forensic officers have seized several items from the scene, which have been transported to Adelaide for forensic analysis.

As for Benji, McCallum said “he will definitely get a few extra treats” following his discovery.
