In one of his initial decisions after winning re-election in November 2024, President Trump selected a new representative to serve as the State Department’s spokesperson. He chose Tammy Bruce for the role—a decision that was well justified.

Previously, RedState highlighted Bruce’s dedicated efforts as she spoke on behalf of Secretary of State Marco Rubio. She has been instrumental in prioritizing the extradition of individuals who committed serious crimes against Americans, ensuring they face justice in the United States. A notable example includes a March clip featuring Bruce’s advocacy:

In a May press briefing covered by Teri Christoph, Bruce was fiercely direct about the administration’s effort to apply rigorous scrutiny to anyone seeking temporary or permanent residency in the U.S.

BRUCE: I would like to remind everyone, as discussed over the past months, that we leverage all available resources to evaluate individuals seeking entry to our country. This includes applying for a visa to gain admission. Every country has the sovereign right to understand who wishes to enter, their reasons, identities, and past activities, in order to predict their actions while here. This is a standard procedure, and we will continue utilizing every tool at our disposal to determine the backgrounds of students and other applicants alike.
