SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Three suspects are on trial for the murder of Travis Edwards, which took place on May 13, 2021. It has been reported that two of these suspects allegedly killed two more individuals two years later while they were out on bond.

Terry Rucker, 20, Harold Roberson, 21, and Vaquez Coleman, 20, are expected to face a jury on Wednesday for the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Travis Edwards at the Bricktowne Flats apartment complex.

According to court and jail records, Roberson and Coleman, who were minors at the time of Edwards’ murder, were released on bond and are alleged to have committed another double murder.

Documents reveal Roberson was bonded out of jail twice after being arrested June 5, 2021 on a murder charge for Edwards’ shooting death.

Nearly two months afterwards, Roberson was charged with additional offenses in the case, including malice murder, aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit a felony, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.

Roberson’s bond was first denied on June 30, 2021.

He was granted bond Oct. 1, 2021 on several conditions including home confinement and the wearing of an ankle monitor.

Roberson was then arrested on Sept. 2, 2023 for driving under the influence (DUI) and a permit violation.

He was bonded out the next day.

Roberson had been incarcerated since November 15, 2021, charged with Edwards’ murder. However, his co-defendant Coleman was granted bond on September 25, 2023, and was released from jail.

Approximately two months later, on December 4, 2023, 16-year-old Semaj Floyd and 20-year-old Omarion Whitfield were shot and killed in a double murder at the intersection of Amaranth Avenue and Perth Street.

Records show law enforcement quickly identified Roberson and Coleman as suspects, with both men back behind bars by Dec. 15, 2023 for initial arrests being held for court, with formal arrests made in Oct. 2024, now facing separate murder charges in addition to the ones they were charged with two years prior.

A third suspect, now-24-year old Joshua Reddick, was arrested April 14, 2025 and was indicted along with Roberson and Coleman for the double murder May 27, 2025.

After the Edwards trial, Roberson and Coleman will be tried again alongside Reddick on Sept. 29 for the 2023 double murder.
