NASHVILLE, Tenn. () — QVC is bringing its widely adored Foodie Fest to the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District on Wednesday, Aug. 20, featuring Savannah’s Candy Kitchen (SCK).

Rhett Strickland, co-owner of SCK, expressed, “I’ve been inviting [QVC] to Savannah for years, so it’s thrilling to finally have them here, offering their audience an array of delightful Lowcountry treats. We are truly thankful to represent Savannah nationwide and share the sweet Southern life with everyone.”

Savannah’s Candy Kitchen, a staple on QVC for nearly a decade, will present its famed original and chocolate Savannah pralines. The company will also introduce new pecan and peach pie tarts, crafted exclusively for Foodie Fest.

This event also pays homage to a Savannah icon with the introduction of Tubby’s, a fresh gourmet food brand. Named in memory of the late Stan Strickland, the cherished founder of Savannah’s Candy Kitchen, Tubby’s honors his love for Southern seafood and his well-known nickname, “Tubby.”

Tubby’s will make its QVC debut with two exclusive items:

  • Handmade crab cakes
  • Low Country Boil-in-a Bag

Established in 2023 in Pennsylvania, the QVC Foodie Fest is an annual gathering that unites popular culinary brands from QVC for live broadcasts, new product debuts, and customer interactions. Additionally, more Savannah-inspired foods are expected in future QVC releases.

“Our family’s mission has extended beyond just candy,” Rhett shared. “It’s about providing an experience and offering an authentic taste of our amazing hometown. That’s the essence of this event.”

QVC Foodie Fest comes to the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
