Latest Search Turns Up No Signs: Mom of 4 Vanishes While Taking a Short Walk Near Home

Illinois authorities believe a body discovered on Thursday is a woman who went missing late last month.

Naperville police responded to a call at the Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve and discovered a body in an area with dense, tall grass. The Daily Herald noted that the clothing on the deceased matched the attire Olasinmibo Abosede, 46, had on when she vanished from her Naperville residence on July 30.

It is thought that Abosede went for a brief walk and vanished without taking any personal belongings except for a water bottle. Surveillance video evidently captures her leaving her home on that day.

Despite police’s announcement, the DuPage County Coroner’s Office will confirm whether the body is Abosede.

Even after Thursday’s discovery, police maintained that foul play is not suspected in this case.
