Jessika, aged 32, is a versatile individual from London who juggles roles as a gymnast, roller-skating Drag King, and service designer. Originally from Cornwall, she is a participant in the 2025 edition of The Great British Bake Off (GBBO). Her unique signature bakes combine bold flavors such as salted mango caramel blended with cardamom, or Jerusalem artichoke caramel paired with rich dark chocolate mousse.

Growing up in Cornwall, Jessika cherishes her childhood memories of enjoying corner-shop cakes with her sister after their dance classes, which cultivated her affinity for sweets. She expresses her affection through baking, often dedicating months to learn about her friends’ preferences before astonishing them with a customized birthday dessert.

Drag king Jessika is set to appear in the 16th series of The Great British Bake Off. In this highly acclaimed baking tent, twelve contestants will compete under the scrutiny of judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, with guidance from hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.

Recalling the moment she received the call to join the show, Jessika shared that she was at a friend’s house, responding to the news from the Channel 4 producers with “a little scream, followed by a bigger scream, and then an enthusiastic dance”. She humorously added, “I was at a friend’s place alone when I heard the news, just excitedly flailing around!”

Jessika also mentioned, “Viewing the big white tent for the first time felt surreal. I’ve been a fan of the show for years and always imagined that perhaps, someday, I might bring a baking spectacle to the judges’ table.”

“But it didn’t really hit me until I was standing at my workstation, apron on, looking around at the other bakers and thinking, ‘Welp, girl, you made it!’”
