Attendees can look forward to a day filled with activities suitable for all ages, featuring food vendors, live music, art displays, yoga classes, basketball competitions, graffiti art demos, and an EMC battle. Local hip-hop performers will play throughout the day, fostering an energetic ambiance that will deliver an unforgettable celebration centered on peace and culture.

The festivities will kick off with the One Lawndale Unity Service, a Sunday service promoting unity and hope.

Key attractions include the Chicago Historic Route 66 Chicago Classic Car Show, which is the only historic car exhibition in the city. Principle Barbers will provide complimentary grooming services. Additionally, there is a Back-to-School Festival hosted by Ald. Monique Scott and a blood drive conducted by the American Red Cross.

Pastor and CEO Phil Jackson expressed excitement for this year’s partnerships with organizations committed to unity and community strength, saying, “By coming together, we can engage more people and enhance our messages of peace, hope, and resilience. Collaboration shows how unity can inspire positive transformations in our neighborhoods.”

Participants are encouraged to support FCAC through purchases at the event, with proceeds aiding essential programs. These include Spark Arts, which promotes social-emotional growth through dance, technology, culinary arts, visual arts, audio engineering, fashion, and video production, along with the VIP program. This initiative is aimed at nurturing purpose, leadership, and character in young men, leading into FCAC’s career development efforts.
