The Fleenortown area in Lee County, Virginia, was issued a Boil Water Notice on Sunday due to a water line break in Jonesville.
The Lee County Public Service Authority (PSA) announced in a statement that the Town of Jonesville, which provides water to the Fleenortown system, had issued this precautionary measure.
The Town of Jonesville reported on their social media that the main water line on Main Street had broken, and as of Sunday morning, crews were actively working on repairs.
The Lee County PSA said Fleenortown area residents should boil any water for consumption until further notice.
