Earlier this month, Missouri police arrested two people who allegedly filmed themselves encouraging children to fight each other.

On July 14, authorities in Pettis County received reports about two videos depicting young children involved in a fight. In these recordings, Barbara Dunlap, 44, who serves as the children’s guardian, can be seen encouraging the altercation, as reported by KCTV.

A second suspect, Austin Barklage, 20, was also allegedly filmed encouraging the fights.

KFVS details that the videos capture the children positioned on opposite sides of a living room, with voices in the background urging them to engage in the fight. The off-camera individuals were also heard instructing the kids on how to hit each other.

Police said the adults cheered on while one of the children was in a headlock that could have killed them.

KCTV reported that one of the children ran away from home after the organized fights — and Dunlap did not attempt to check on them.

Following his arrest, Barklage allegedly confessed to filming the illicit video on Snapchat and sending it to his cousin.

Dunlap, along with Barklage, faces charges of child endangerment, with their bail set at $7,500. Legal documents reveal that after Dunlap’s detention, several other children under her care were removed from the residence.
