In the tragic case of 16-year-old am Raine, his parents reveal that in his final weeks, he turned to the ChatGPT artificial intelligence chatbot as a replacement for human interaction. As a result, they have initiated legal action against the creators of ChatGPT, OpenAI, and its CEO Sam Altman, claiming they are accountable for their son’s death.
