AUGUSTA, Ga. () – Local organizations are doing their part to give some hope to the community after the tragic events of Hurricane Helene.

The Cornerstone Assembly in collaboration with Convoy Of Hope will be having a Resource Day on Saturday, September 27th: Hope After Helene.

Resource distribution via drive-thru will occur from 8 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Cross Creek High, Glenn Hills Middle, Grovetown High, and Martinez Elementary Schools. The Resource Family Festival will take place from 4 to 7 P.M. at Project Life, located at 1760 Gordon Highway in Augusta.

According to organizers, Hope After Helene is a community-focused resource day designed to foster recovery, promote unity, and support long-term healing in the aftermath of Hurricane Helen’s devastation. This initiative is a collaborative effort involving local churches, nonprofits, and community partners working together to promote hope and recovery.

The event will provide food, essential supplies, and recovery assistance, and also features a Family Festival to celebrate the community’s resilience and strength.
