Get ready for a delightful weekend in Savannah, Georgia, with a hint of fall in the atmosphere. High temperatures will remain near or slightly below the usual range, peaking in the mid-80s. Expect lots of sunshine on both Saturday and Sunday, along with a refreshing northeast breeze today that will make the weather feel comfortably pleasant.

However, this breeze also brings a heightened risk of rip currents along the coastlines of South Carolina and Georgia. If you plan to visit the beach, be sure to exercise caution. The winds should calm down by Sunday, continuing to ease as we head into the beginning of the work week.

As we transition into the next week, you’ll notice a bit of humidity returning alongside warmer temperatures. The high pressure system will keep conditions dry, but expect temperatures to rise toward the upper 80s, and the mugginess will start to make a comeback.

Looking further into the work week, there’s a slight possibility of a few coastal showers as a low pressure system develops off the coast. Still, the overall weather pattern is expected to remain relatively calm.
