Conjoined twins Carmen and Lupita Andrade aren’t holding back when it comes to the invasive questions they face — especially since Carmen tied the knot.
The 25-year-old social media darlings, born in Mexico and now living in Connecticut, have defied every medical prediction, surviving and thriving well past doctors’ expectations.
The twins are joined at the torso, sharing ribs, parts of their circulatory, digestive, and reproductive systems — but each has their own heart, lungs, and stomach.
Early on, doctors warned that separation surgery would likely be fatal or cause devastating neurological damage, so Carmen and Lupita made the choice to remain together.
That hasn’t stopped the world from prying, particularly after Carmen married Daniel McCormack in October 2024.
Fans have been buzzing with questions about their private lives — something Carmen says crosses the line.

Early on, doctors warned that separation surgery would likely be fatal or cause devastating neurological damage, so Carmen and Lupita made the choice to remain together… and that hasn’t stopped the world from prying, particularly after Carmen married Daniel McCormack in October 2024
‘I don’t understand why people need to know about my private parts in order [to] humanize us,’ she told People on Thursday.
Daniel, 28, didn’t mince words either, firing back at the constant speculation.
‘People are obsessed with sex, you know? And it’s just like, frankly, it’s none of your f—— business.’
For Lupita, the questions sting in a different way.
‘I don’t like being asked if I am ever going to love [Daniel], she explained.
‘I love him as a brother. That’s about it.’
Carmen also set the record straight on another rumor — that she’s the one bringing in all the money while Daniel rides along for the fame.
According to critics, he’s ‘cheating on me on the side,’ planning to walk out in a few years, or ‘just kind of here for the bag’, said Carmen.

Her response? ‘I’ve got no money,’ she laughed.
She also shot down the idea that their social media success has made them rich.
Between their joint YouTube channel with more than 256,000 subscribers and their thousands of Instagram followers, many assume they’re living large.
The truth, Carmen says, is far less glamorous.
‘We don’t want to take advantage of our supporters,’ she explained, adding that they’re picky about sponsorships and only partner with brands they genuinely use and trust.
In reality, their online earnings ‘just [count] as supplemental income,’ she admitted.
‘We still have to work 50 hours a week to make ends meet [and cover] unexpected expenses.’
As for Lupita, she wanted to clear the air about Daniel, too.

While fans latched onto a long-running joke that she didn’t like him, she says the opposite is true.
‘I just want to see my sister happy,’ Lupita said firmly. ‘I don’t think people understand he would not be around whatsoever if we didn’t get along.’
In July, Carmen revealed she had been married to Daniel since October 2024.
The couple, who met on Hinge in 2020, ‘eloped’ and got married on Lover’s Leap Bridge in New Milford, Connecticut.
The duo, along with Lupita, had previously announced the news quietly at the end of a YouTube video titled Overdue Update!
‘We should probably also address something else pretty big,’ Carmen said in the clip, ‘I did get married.’
The bride then flashed her wedding ring and laughed when Daniel came into view, proclaiming: ‘I got an upgrade. I’m the husband now.’
Daniel explained that the wedding was a ‘small get-together’ with ‘local family’ only – rather than extending the invite wider.
Carmen also made sure to clarify who actually got married in October.
‘Before anybody gets it twisted: We got married,’ Carmen said, pointing to herself and Daniel in the clip.
‘But we did not get married,’ she added, then including her conjoined sister.
Lupita, who identifies as asexual, added: ‘I don’t want to get married… because I don’t want to.’
Before meeting Daniel, Carmen said dating was a ‘learning process for everybody.’
The sisters previously claimed that they have often been inappropriately ‘fetishized’ over the idea that someone is ‘having sex with two people at once.’
