Actor Tom Holland sustained an injury while performing a stunt during the filming of the new “Spider-Man” movie in the U.K., as reported by multiple sources.

The Sun from the U.K., along with outlets such as The Rolling Stone, Deadline, Variety, and Collider, stated that Holland suffered a fall and injured his head while on the set of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” at Leavesden Studios in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. Notable films like “Harry Potter,” “The Batman,” and “House of the Dragon” were previously filmed at this studio.

Several reports suggest that Holland has likely suffered a concussion due to the accident and is anticipated to take a short hiatus from filming.

The 29-year-old actor was reportedly rushed to a hospital by ambulance, where he was treated and released, The Sun reports.

The impact of this incident on the release schedule of the newest Marvel-Sony film remains uncertain. This will be the fourth movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Spider-Man” series, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and currently planned for a July 31, 2026, release in theaters.

The Sun is reporting that another person, believed to be a stuntwoman, was also taken to the hospital after the incident.

In August, Sony released a video of Holland on set during Day 1 of filming “back in the suit.”

The “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” cast includes Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, J.K. Simmons and more.
