A leading defense attorney believes there is currently no evidence to suggest musician D4vd is connected to the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was found in the trunk of his car.

has learned friends of D4vd believed the 15-year-old girl was his girlfriend. D4vd, the 20-year-old artist whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, has now hired notable criminal defense attorney Blair Berk.

Speaking to “Banfield,” criminal defense attorney Alexandra Kazarian said D4vd would be well-served to remain silent with the investigation ongoing.

“He better be shutting his mouth. He better be absolutely quiet. He better be at home wherever he is, doing nothing, not going anywhere, not talking to anybody, and just doing everything that she tells him to do,” Kazarian said of Berk’s likely advice for D4vd.

It is still unclear how Rivas Hernandez died after the Los Angeles County medical examiner listed her cause of death as “deferred” and requested additional testing.

LAPD Captain and Commanding Officer Scot M. Williams has said there are still questions related to the teen’s death. Her remains were discovered inside a Tesla registered to D4vd at a Hollywood tow yard Sept. 8.

“I think the LAPD, especially in cases like this … I think that their PR and their attorneys are telling them to be quiet, too. They just don’t have enough information to give any kind of information out into the public,” Kazarian told .

As for the links to D4vd, Kazarian believes there is no public information connecting him to any illegal activity.

“How do we know that he had anything to do with that? There’s no evidence against this man for any crime that I can see,” she said.
