ABOUT OXFORD EXCHANGE
Mad Dogs and Englishmen was established in 1991 by Wilton Morley and Colonel Rick Craig. Wilton comes from a family of British character actors; his father, Robert Morley, and his grandmother, Dame Gladys Cooper, starred in over a hundred plays and movies. His grandfather, Herbert Buckmaster, founded the Bucks Club in 1919, located in Mayfair. During his theatrical production career in Australia during the 70s and 80s, Wilton notably offered Russell Crowe his first two gigs in theatre. Colonel Craig humorously notes he still isn’t related to any famous figures. Now, Mad Dogs and Englishmen proudly joins the Oxford Commons Hospitality Company, continuing its commitment to Excellence, Eccentricity, and Empire. Blake, Allison, Wilton, and the Colonel are thrilled to bring the finest of Britain to South Tampa, located at their new venue at 4914 South MacDill Avenue.
