A 42-year-old man who was convicted for the death of a 6-year-old boy in Kentucky after intruding into the child’s home in 2015 has been granted parole.
Ronald Exantus, aged 42, received a 20-year sentence following his conviction for second-degree assault related to the boy’s death, but he was released from prison on Wednesday, as per online records.
Exantus entered the Versailles, Kentucky residence of 6-year-old Logan Tipton in December 2015 and fatally stabbed him. He also assaulted Tipton’s father and sisters during the incident.
“I’ve had my discussions with God because I’m not afraid to share what I expressed to the court,” Logan’s father, Dean Tipton, told WLKY-TV. “If I ever encounter him again, I will kill the man. I will end him on the spot.”
He began serving his prison sentence in 2018, but was released early for good behavior.

“I laid in bed. I gave up. I gave up on life,” Dean Tipton told the station. “I gave up on my family. I gave up on everybody. I just wanted to die.”
