MILLIGAN, Tenn. – The Milligan University women’s volleyball squad returned to Steve Lacy Fieldhouse on Tuesday to face off against the University of Pikeville (Ky.) Bears, who held an 8-9 overall record with a 5-1 tally in AAC play.

The Buffaloes (2-17, 1-6 AAC) supplied a valiant performance en route to a 3-1 (27-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-21) result.

This victory was significant for the Buffaloes as they defeated a Pikeville team renowned for winning five out of their last six AAC matches. Milligan now prepares to host Spartanburg Methodist College (S.C.) this coming Friday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m.
