Donald Trump delivered a harsh critique to a CNN journalist, labeling her as ‘one of the worst reporters you’ll ever see’ during a public reprimand.

Trump called on CNN Senior White House Correspondent Kristen Holmes (pictured) during an 'Antifa roundtable' he held in the State Dining Room on Wednesday, before promptly changing his mind. While her question was hard to hear over the chatter, she appeared to be referring to a potential ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas when Trump interrupted.

Trump addressed CNN Senior White House Correspondent Kristen Holmes during an ‘Antifa roundtable’ he convened in the State Dining Room on Wednesday but then quickly reconsidered. Although her inquiry was unclear over the background noise, it seemed she was asking about a possible ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas when he interrupted.

'This is CNN speaking, by the way,' he said to the crowd gathered. 'So, you know, this is one of the worst reporters that you'll ever see. I don't even want to take her question. It's a waste of time.' He then moved on to a new question, from a new reporter.

‘This is CNN speaking, by the way,’ Trump remarked to those in attendance. ‘So, you know, she’s one of the worst reporters that you’ll ever encounter. I don’t even want to answer her question. It’s just a waste of time.’ He then proceeded to entertain a question from another reporter.

The brutal sledge is the latest in a host of digs Trump has taken at reporters from liberal news stations since returning to power. CNN, ABC and NBC reporters have become accustomed to being the point of the joke during press conferences as Trump wages war on 'woke' media outlets who have wronged him with multimillion dollar lawsuits.

This sharp rebuke is the latest among many jabs Trump has taken at journalists from liberal news networks since his return to power. Reporters from CNN, ABC, and NBC have often found themselves as targets in Trump’s press conferences, as he continues his confrontations with ‘woke’ media outlets, culminating in multimillion-dollar lawsuits.

Trump was speaking with reporters and influencers about Antifa - a left-wing anti-fascist movement the administration recently designated as a terrorist group. But midway through the meeting he was interrupted by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who handed him an urgent note about the ongoing peace negotiations between Hamas and Israel.

During the discussion with journalists and influencers about Antifa—a leftist anti-fascist movement the administration recently classified as a terrorist organization—Secretary of State Marco Rubio interrupted him with an urgent note regarding ongoing peace talks between Hamas and Israel.

'I was just given a note by the Secretary of State saying that we're very close to a deal in the Middle East, and they're going to need me pretty quickly,' Trump told reporters gathered at the roundtable on Wednesday. The frantically scrawled note was caught on camera. It read: 'Very close. We need you to approve a post on Truth Social soon, so you can announce the deal first.'

‘I just received a note from the Secretary of State stating we’re very close to a Middle East deal, and they’ll soon need me,’ Trump informed reporters at the roundtable on Wednesday. The hastily scribbled note was captured on camera. It stated: ‘Very close. We need you to approve a post on Truth Social soon, so you can announce the deal first.’

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt later confirmed that Trump 'is considering heading to the Middle East' as soon as Friday. At 6.51pm EST, Trump greenlit the Truth Social post, which read: 'I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan.

'This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace.'

Trump vowed that 'all parties will be treated fairly', describing the deal as 'a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America. 'We thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, who worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen. BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!'
