() President Donald Trump’s physical results have been released after a check-up at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday.

In a communication addressed to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s doctor stated that the president is in “excellent overall health … demonstrating strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical abilities.”

At 79, Trump received flu and COVID vaccinations during his evaluation, which occurs just before his trip to the Middle East on Monday. The doctor noted that Trump’s cardiac health is equivalent to someone 14 years younger than him, and he continues to manage his demanding daily schedule without difficulties.

Friday’s examination was the second one Trump had at Walter Reed this year. He previously had a routine check-up in April, after which his physician confirmed he was in “excellent health.”

This recent physical followed a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency in July for Trump, a common condition where veins in the arms or legs are compromised.

This makes it harder for blood to travel back to your heart, and it instead collects in the arm or leg veins, according to UC Davis.

The press secretary mentioned that doctors, at the time, explained bruising on Trump’s hands as “minor soft tissue damage,” often resulting from frequent handshaking and regular aspirin consumption.
