'No Kings' protest takes over NYC

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, an estimated 100,000 demonstrators took to the streets of New York City in a large-scale protest dubbed the ‘No Kings’ march, aimed at opposing the policies of the Trump administration. This demonstration was the second of its kind this year, following a similar event in June that coincided with President Trump’s birthday and a military parade.

The rally drew a significant crowd to Times Square, where participants gathered as part of a nationwide day of protest against President Donald Trump’s leadership. From coast to coast, in cities like New York and San Francisco, millions of Americans were anticipated to express their discontent with the president’s policies during these ‘No Kings’ events.

The scene in Manhattan was particularly striking, as thousands joined the protest, united in their call for change. The rally highlighted the growing sentiment among many Americans who oppose what they perceive as authoritarian tendencies in the current administration.
