JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Johnson City Public Library announced its unexpected closure on Saturday because of a water leak.

Despite this disruption, the library confirmed via a Facebook update that its Saturday book sale remains unaffected. The event is still taking place in the Jones Meeting Center and will continue until 3 p.m.

As of Saturday afternoon, the library had not released any further updates regarding potential closures extending into the rest of the weekend.
