DENVER (KDVR) — Two Colorado children are now safe following their mother’s alleged abduction, which led to her arrest and the issuance of a statewide Amber Alert in Texas.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office was alerted on Saturday to a situation involving the unlawful removal of a 13-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl by their mother, Magali Mejia Sanchez.
