The unsettling incident unfolded in Cutler Bay, Florida, where police were called to a family residence on Sunday. According to a report reviewed by Law&Crime, the victim, a 15-year-old girl, sustained at least 10 stab wounds. The attack reportedly occurred after the teenager discovered her older sister rifling through her phone.

Details from the arrest report indicate that the teenager had been asleep in the living room when she awoke to find Le examining her cellphone. Confronting her sister, the teen questioned Le’s actions. Instead of responding, Le allegedly retrieved a black knife.

In a desperate attempt to flee, the teenager ran towards the front door. However, Le allegedly pursued her and stabbed her in the back four times. Even after the teen collapsed, the assault continued with at least six additional stabs. The teenager reportedly begged for her life, at which point Le ceased the attack, leaving her sister injured and bleeding.

According to the arrest report, the teenager was sleeping in the home’s living room when she caught Le going through her phone. The teen grabbed her cellphone from Le and asked her why she was looking through it. Instead of explaining, Le allegedly fetched a black knife.

Police said that the teen ran toward the front door to escape, but Le caught up to her and allegedly stabbed her in the back with the knife four times. After the teen collapsed to the floor, Le’s alleged attack continued with at least six more strikes with the knife. The teen “pleaded for her life,” and Le stopped, leaving her younger sister bleeding on the ground.

WPLG, a local, independent news station, reported that the teen was brought to the hospital in critical condition. Le, police noted, “refused to speak to detectives” and was arrested.

Le was charged with one count of attempted murder and is being held without bond. Her arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 17.
