She also included an emotional image of herself in tears, conveying just how heartbroken she feels.

Kayla shared a photo of herself with her dog and wrote: ‘Today we lost our Royce. I really don’t have words for this feeling.’

She then posted an image of herself in tears and said she was feeling ‘heartbroken’.

‘Yes I’m doing fine thank you for asking. Ever tried to pull your sh*t together when you are in another country and still have to work,’ she wrote.

‘Holy crap, heartbroken.’

The bad news came after Kayla recently shared an emotional health update after doctors previously found a precancerous lesion on her cervix.

Kayla shared a joyous gym selfie in July and a screenshot of her medical results.

‘Happiest human ever!!!!!!!’ the Sweat founder declared in her caption.

Kayla clipped a text message from her doctor that read: ‘Dr Erin Evans has reviewed your cervical screening results and it is normal. Your next cervical screening is due in five years and a reminder has been added.’

In the selfie, Kayla grinned from ear to ear as she got back to business in the gym.

‘Context…’ she added in a further caption.

‘From finding a pre-cancerous lesion in my cervix a few years ago and having surgery to remove it… to these results,’ with a heart-hands emoji.

The fitness influencer broke down in tears in June on Instagram as she prepared to go to her cancer appointment.

‘I had one of those appointments a year and a bit ago and they found a pre-cancerous lesion on my cervix and I had to go and get it removed,’ she told her fans. 

‘I’m going in today and I’m so anxious,’ Kayla continued. 

‘I’m so nervous and I’m trying to train. I don’t know why I feel like I’m about to cry.’
