ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) – On Wednesday evening, a special graduation ceremony took place in Elizabethton, celebrating participants who completed the First Judicial District Felony and Northeast Tennessee Residential Recovery Court program.
This initiative is dedicated to assisting individuals in overcoming substance addiction through a comprehensive approach that includes various classes, therapy sessions, and support in obtaining necessary licenses and certifications.
“Participants are mastering the art of living drug-free,” stated Lisa Tipton, the Executive Director of Families Free. “They’re also adopting a lifestyle free from criminal activities.”
The ceremony honored ten graduates, with an audience composed of family, friends, and mentors who gathered to applaud their significant achievements.
