In a festive display that has become a cherished White House tradition, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump welcomed trick-or-treaters to a Halloween event on Thursday. The celebration, held at the iconic South Portico, was a delightful mix of fun and pageantry, marking the couple’s commitment to maintaining this playful custom.

Amidst the autumnal decorations that adorned the White House, guests were greeted with a warm welcome. Among those joining in the festivities were press secretary Karoline Leavitt and deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, who brought along their children to partake in the excitement. The young attendees were thrilled to receive specially branded candy, a unique treat from the nation’s most recognizable address.

Remarkably, President Trump had just returned to Washington, D.C., earlier that day following a demanding week-long trip across Asia. Touching down around 3 p.m. EDT, he showed no signs of fatigue as he and the First Lady embraced the Halloween spirit, offering an unforgettable experience for the families gathered at the White House.
