Celeste Rivas Hernandez case: Why are autopsy results taking so long?

Delay in Autopsy Results Raises Questions in Celeste Rivas Hernandez Case

Almost two months have passed since the tragic discovery of Lake Elsinore teenager Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s body in the front trunk of a Tesla at a Los Angeles tow yard. Despite the time elapsed, the circumstances surrounding her death remain shrouded in mystery.

The ongoing delay in the completion of her autopsy is not unusual, as the Medical Examiner’s office is still awaiting the results of various tests. This process, which can extend into weeks, often involves detailed toxicology reports and other assessments to provide clarity on the case.

As of October 31, Hernandez’s case remains unresolved, officially marked as deferred. This designation indicates the need for further investigation, a common practice in cases with complexities requiring additional evidence to reach a conclusion.

The Tesla, central to this investigation, has been linked to emerging R&B artist D4VD, who is reportedly cooperating with authorities. However, questions linger about whether a crime was committed, and if so, what the nature of that crime might be.
