Michigan terror plot? Defense attorney still waiting on charges

Federal authorities have remained tight-lipped following the FBI’s announcement on Friday that it had thwarted a possible terrorist attack in Michigan planned for the Halloween weekend.

Amir Makled, the defense attorney representing a 20-year-old individual detained in connection with the case, expressed his anticipation for any forthcoming charges. “There hasn’t been a terrorist plot. There is no imminent plan. There was no imminent plan,” Makled stated on Saturday.

In the midst of these developments, residents in a Dearborn, Michigan neighborhood observed investigators capturing photos and gathering evidence at a suspect’s residence. Meanwhile, law enforcement in Inkster, another Detroit suburb, confirmed the FBI’s presence at a local storage facility.
